Located between two lagoons, Yaxhá and Sacnab, which makes it a refuge for wildlife and part of the main routes for migratory birds, the park has been recognized as a wetland of global importance.

Here you are going to experience the pleasure of being most likely the only one inside of the sacred site, because it is rarely visited, so you can have the whole site just for yourself and enjoy it in a very unique and special way.

What’s special about Nakum, is the fact that it has the largest Mayan Temazcal  (or the Mayan sauna) in all the Mayan lowlands where sacred rituals were performed back in time. Free and easy time to explore your unique surroundings and to connect with the energy of Nakum.

Typical breakfast followed by more 4×4 real jungle action towards Tikal. Lunch at the national park (probably with the company of howler monkeys) and the exploration of one of the most powerful Mayan kingdoms.

Tikal is a really strong and energetical site, whose history begins around 2000 years A.C., and today, archaeologists are still working on the site, finding day to day more evidence of our ancient civilization. Among its most important structures stands out the Great Jaguar (or Temple 1), an icon for the Mayas and the world, located in the Central Acropolis, Temple 2 (or the Masks), the Lost World and the Window Palace.
