Lunch in town, and the continuation of your journey towards the Candelaria cenotes,  free and easy time to connect with your unique surroundings and to hike and swim in the crystal clear waters of these unique cenotes.

At night, get ready for a bonfire and a delicious camping dinner under the light of the Mayan moon.

DAY 03Finca Chacula.

Wake up at one of the furthermost west parts of Guatemala and with a natural spring by the side of your camp, this is how this morning is going to welcome you.

Get out of your tent whenever you feel ready and enjoy a local camping breakfast, or just grab your swimsuit and jump in the Cenotes for a fresh start of the day!

Around midday, and after a good swim and a deep exploration of your natural surroundings, you are going to continue your way to the finca Chacula, a very important site for the indigenous communities of the Mayan highlands with a sacred lagoon and mayan archaeological remains on site.

There is so much to be discovered around here, with its vast history and mystical energy, you are definitely going to experience a day in one of the most magical places in Guatemala.

Hot dinner is going to be served at an old mountain hut preserved by the indigenous locals which serves as the main house for the guests in Finca Chacula. So get ready to connect with your local hosts and guides who are going to share their knowledge about the place and all the magical culture that is within.

DAY 04The one-of-a-kind Cimarron forest hole and the Laguna Brava

Start your day with a mystic fog characteristic of your unique surroundings and experience a locally prepared breakfast by your community hosts, then hop on into your 4×4 vehicles and ride to your first destination of the day, “El Hoyo del Cimarron”,  a truly unique natural formation in Guatemala and the world.

El Hoyo del Cimarron (or the Cimarron Hole) is a formation by eroded rock which then collapsed and left a gigantic 80mt deep hole into the earth with a beautiful forest growing in its bottom. So get ready to explore and connect with it before you depart to the second destination of the day, the astonishing Laguna Brava.

Laguna Brava is the biggest lagoon in the country and a very special place which stands out because of its virgin and wild feeling. With local and international tourism being very limited around here, this place is truly very untouched and totally out of the map of the regular tourist brochure.

If you are more of the laid back type, you can easily chill-out at your fully equipped campground and enjoy the beautiful scenery that this place offers, or if you are more of an adventurous spirit, you can explore your wild nature surroundings and get amazed by the magic of this place.
