Considered by many as one of the most spectacular cities of the Maya, it is internationally acclaimed because of the maximum artistic expressions represented on multidimensional stone carving, for the elaboration of unique stelaes, ceremonial altars and more.

Itts main complex consists of the Acropolis and plazas with an impressive stadium opening onto a mound with numerous richly sculptured monoliths, and the Hieroglyphic Stairway Plaza, with a monumental stairway that includes the most extended text in the Mayan world.

Since the sites sit in an unbelievably lush valley, it is easy to spot a variety of local  animals that roam around the ruins, among those are monkeys, guacamayas (large parrots), macaws, sloths, and peccaries, among others.

A privileged Mayan city developed next to the Rio Grande (Big River) or Motagua where the most important stone for the Mayans is located, the jade.

Historically, Quirigua (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) was deeply connected to Copan, and is a marvelous Mayan sacred site and that is definitely a must for the awakened travelers’ with knowledge and passion for the ancient arts.

It is also considered as the home of the biggest ancient monuments of all the Americas, standing out especially its stelas (actually books written in stone telling us the site’s history) in the Mayan world.

The famous stela E that is almost 11 meters high and the zoomorph P (a supreme carved art piece).

So get ready for the unique and rewarding experience of seeing and feeling the Mayan jungle’s dawn from the highest part of Templo IV (or the Bicephalous Serpent).

Tikal is a really strong and energetical site, whose history begins around 2000 years A.C., and today, archaeologists are still working on the site, finding day to day more evidence of our ancient civilization.

Connect with its mysticism, magic and decipher the greatest mysteries and enigmas of this impressive civilization as you walk through its dense jungle.

Among its remarkable structures excels the Great Jaguar (or Temple 1), an icon for the Mayas, located in the Central Acropolis, Temple 2 (or the Masks), the Lost World, the Window Palace, and the Temple 4 (or the two-headed serpents) that it’s considered one of the tallest pre-Columbian temples of all the Americas.

Areas surrounded by beautiful landscapes of mountains, volcanoes, indigenous communities, and all kinds of crops until Iximche (Ixim = Corn & Chee = Tree).

Later on, continue your way to the town of Panajachel, located on the shores of one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, Atitlan, and the place where you are going to take a boat ride and cross its crystalline waters until the small, picturesque, and charming town of San Juan La Laguna.

Aldous Huxley described Atitlan as “too much of a good thing, it touches the limit of the permissibly picturesque”.

Sunrise paddle board on the Lake’s crystalline and calm waters surrounded by its majestic 03 volcanoes (San Pedro, Atitlan, and Toliman).

Experience the day-to-day life of the Lake inhabitants, standing out among them their multiple farmers and fishers, followed by a boat ride to visit the holistic town of San Marcos La Laguna, a small but charming shire where the international community and the local people converge for your immersion in the Mayan sacred fire and your connection with the spirit of the “kakaw” or cocoa also known by the ancient Mayans as the “flesh of the Gods” and consider pure medicine for your heart and soul.
